simulacrum of life

since the last

life rolls along. the lessons it imparts tend to have a common thread, in that they tend to be a tad painful (or more painful if i'm not that lucky). i've done stupid things, like we've all done, i'm sure. i guess a consolation is that they aren't THAT life altering. the course of life never seems to make much sense to me.

anyways, since my last post, i have met up with most of the people i've wanted to meet. though not enough of some and a bit too much of some others.

i have also built my own pc. nice cooler master centurion black casing with silver accents, to complement my pretty philips 170x5. decided that it will be a work in progress kinda thing. upgrade it as i earn $$$.

i am also currently working. situation will be changed by the end of the week, due to my inability to do a totally mindless job. it's really hardcore admin work. the kinda work that computers ought to be doing, if only they have cheap, intelligent robots, no human would have to do this job, which involves sorting out invoices and consolidating listings of invoices. i can hear you yawning already. yesterday whilst at work, somebody from a primary school near my house called to ask if i was available, and it happened yet again today. it's a sign, i say... no need for a 1.5 h x2 commute each day, if i get a relief teaching job near home. and at least i'll get to interact with humans. little humans, but humans nonetheless.

got lotsa thoughts in my mind. shall put them into words sometime in the future, if i don't procrastinate so much
