sun, moon and her
the silvermoon gazes down upon them
giving her blessings to the ritual
he caresses her face with the back of his hand
nails gently grazing her baby soft cheeks
she gasps from the sensations it evokes
they lie down and in the arms of the other
drift away
the rising sun peeks at the sleepers
still clinging to the other
as they did, through the night
his eyelids slowly rise
the sight before him,
truly breathtaking
his eyes rest upon her
her face, calm and smiling
he wonders what she dreams of
her chest, rising and falling
steady breaths all through
he stares and he stares
giving her blessings to the ritual
he caresses her face with the back of his hand
nails gently grazing her baby soft cheeks
she gasps from the sensations it evokes
they lie down and in the arms of the other
drift away
the rising sun peeks at the sleepers
still clinging to the other
as they did, through the night
his eyelids slowly rise
the sight before him,
truly breathtaking
his eyes rest upon her
her face, calm and smiling
he wonders what she dreams of
her chest, rising and falling
steady breaths all through
he stares and he stares

chemistry
leaning into me. your face barely inches from mine, i gaze in wonder. as the music starts to play, i gently hold your fingers and tug gently. you respond and rise from your seat, slightly unsteady from the alcohol (plus other things) coursing through your system. we make our way to the dancefloor wriggling through the crowd. the buzz of the alcohol mixing together with the pounding bass beats gives us our rhythm. i watch your body sinuating.. serpentine in it's motion.. fluid-like in it's gyrations. i take a hold of your waist and join you in moving to the beat of the music. we move as one. dipping, shimmying, swaying.. as one. we stare into each other's eyes and we know it's true...
